The two towns are different. Richmond Hill has many newer neighborhoods and backyard pools; Pembroke is smaller and more rural, with larger lots.
Richmond Hill
Close to the marshes and the Ogeechee River, Richmond Hill has plenty of mosquitoes and plenty of backyard pools, which is why pool enclosures and screened porches are common requests. Newer neighborhoods usually have HOA rules to check first.
Pembroke
On larger rural lots, fencing and gutters are the usual projects: fences for pets, gardens and privacy, and gutters that move roof water well away from the house on open ground.
